🌰 Dry Fruits Laddu Recipe – Healthy & Delicious Energy Bites

Dry Fruits Laddu is a traditional Indian sweet packed with the goodness of nuts, seeds, and natural sweeteners. It’s a perfect guilt-free treat for festivals, fasting days, or as an everyday energy booster. These laddus are not only tasty but also rich in fiber, protein, and essential vitamins.


🥘 Ingredients

  • Dates (khajoor) – 1 cup (seedless, finely chopped or blended)
  • Figs (anjeer) – ½ cup (chopped)
  • Raisins (kishmish) – ¼ cup
  • Cashews (kaju) – ½ cup
  • Almonds (badam) – ½ cup
  • Walnuts (akhrot) – ¼ cup
  • Pistachios (pista) – ¼ cup
  • Desiccated coconut – ¼ cup
  • Ghee (clarified butter) – 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
  • Optional seeds – pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds (2–3 tbsp mix)


🔪 Preparation Steps

  1. Roast the nuts

    • Heat a pan and dry roast cashews, almonds, walnuts, and pistachios for 3–4 minutes until aromatic.
    • Remove and let them cool, then chop coarsely.
  2. Prepare the dates & figs

    • Chop dates and figs finely or blend them into a coarse paste. This acts as the natural sweetener and binding agent.
  3. Cook the mixture

    • In the same pan, add 2 tbsp ghee.
    • Add dates and figs paste, sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft and sticky.
  4. Add nuts & raisins

    • Mix in roasted nuts, raisins, desiccated coconut, and seeds.
    • Stir well until everything combines into a sticky mixture.
  5. Flavoring

    • Sprinkle cardamom powder for aroma. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Shape the laddus

    • Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
    • Grease your palms with ghee and roll into small round laddus.
